PocketPills is a community closed-door pharmacy. Our operations have been growing and we are now in search of a Bilingual Pharmacy Assistant who can help manage patient profiles by navigating efficiently between 2 software platforms. Our focus is on excellent patient care delivered over the phone, email, and chat platforms in order to achieve an optimal patient response and in turn prescription volume growth. The right candidate will excel in their ability to demonstrate patient service, care, and follow-up.

  • Deliver quality customer service to patients.
  • Communicate with patients via telephone, email, text messages, and live chat.
  • Process new and refill prescriptions
  • Take/send refill requests and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Send refill and transfer requests to doctors and pharmacies.
  • Verify prescription information is complete and accurate.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses.
  • Assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items as per the College of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Collect, organize and evaluate patient information.
  • Knowledge and efficiency with all aspects of WinRx (data entry, billing, report generating, troubleshooting)

Must- Haves:

  • Bilingual in both English and French
  • 1-2 years of pharmacy experience
  • Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence.
  • Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Detail-oriented.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Starting at $18/hr
