We pack medications by dose and time into “PocketPacks” and deliver them to your doorstep for free.

Our innovative, online pharmacy platform is aimed at significantly reducing cost, improving medication adherence and providing easy access to pharmacists. With direct access to patients’ medication history and using other healthcare information, we will predict medication adherence, medication efficacy, disease progression and incidence of new diseases by leveraging machine learning.

The Role: 

As Art Director, you will actively collaborate with various members of the brand team to develop strategy and execution to build the PocketPills brand across Canada, driving engagement through all touchpoints, such as encouraging app downloads and customer registration. The ideal candidate in this role would be a creative self-starter who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and is hands-on with various aspects of the marketing function.

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with a copywriter, you will be concepting and designing visually eye-catching work, using your ability to convert brand goals into meaningful marketing and communications tactics and campaigns
  • You have a natural curiosity and are interested in learning about the newest trends in visual design, technology and social media
  • You will lead the development of all advertising, from concept to completion for a variety of different mediums, from digital and traditional ads to social media and web content
  • PocketPills is growing fast - agility and flexibility are key attributes to be successful in this role

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduation from a recognized university or college  with a specialization in art, graphic design or advertising communications 
  • At least 3-5 years in an art direction role, preference will be given to candidates with advertising agency background

Expertise required

  • Strong knowledge of brand strategy, social media, digital design, trends, and best practices across multiple platforms
  • Ability to consistently create great ads and content

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of art direction, design and copywriting
  • Excellent conceptual thinking, interpersonal and presentation skills
